Bloodborne Director’s Favorite “Souls” Boss Is…

From Software's Hidetaka Miyazaki has revealed who his favorite boss is among all the ferocious foes found in the "Souls" series. Interestingly enough, among all four games in the loosely-tied franchise, the Bloodborne director's favorite boss comes from Demon's Souls, the game that started it all back on PlayStation 3.

The character? The Old Monk.

"I'm actually fond of a great many enemies and bosses from each title," Miyazaki shared with OPM UK (via PSU). "But let me weed it down to one: the Old Monk. This boss utilized a unique (and rather experimental) multiplayer system. I remember facing a lot of opposition to realize the idea. I also designed the boss' head collar myself."
