Rare Is Announcing Its New Game at E3 2015

The next project from the team that brought you a whole bunch of silly Kinect and Xbox Live Avatar-related content will be revealed soon, as Rare is set to debut its new game at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles.

In a post on Twitter (via NeoGAF), Rare's creative director Simon Woodroffe said, "E3 will tell the world what Gregg Mayles new project is about."

For those who don't know, Mayles is one of the game designers over at Rare who worked on the old Donkey Kong Country games and even designed the character Diddy Kong. He was involved in a number of other titles as well, including Grabbed by the Ghoulies and Viva Pinata.

Prior reports suggest that Rare's next game may be a completely new IP; however, there are also rumblings regarding a return of the Battletoads franchise, a Rare-owned series that has remained dormant for quite some time. Would you like to see the trio of toads make a comeback in a brand new title?
