Until Dawn Gets Release Date, Trailer

Until Dawn, the upcoming adventure horror game for PlayStation 4, now has a release date: August 25.

Pete Samuels, executive producer at Supermassive Games, took to the PlayStation Blog to make the announcement. The post also details a new cast member. Peter Stormare of Prison Break, The Big Lebowski, and Arrow will make an appearance in the game, and Samuels says the actor "gave some incredibly powerful performances in the motion capture studio."

Prospective buyers who pre-order the game in advance gain access to a bonus scene. It involves a couple out in the mountains. As you can imagine, the two lovebirds soon find out they're not alone.

In the meantime, folks looking forward to Until Dawn can watch the new launch date trailer above.
