It appears Sony is preparing to bring two new models of PlayStation 4 to market in the relatively near future.
According to documents from the FCC, as spotted by DualShockers, a pair of new consoles are in the works, one of which boasts a 1TB hard drive. While the other appears to still have a 500GB storage solution, the power source has been changed from 250 to 230 watts, and the unit weighs a bit less.
We're just two weeks away from Sony's E3 media briefing. Will we hear about this new PS4 model during that time? It sure sounds likely. Though, if you're hoping for a full hardware redesign, I think you may be disappointed, as these tweaks don't seem large enough to merit a form factor change.
