Lords of the Fallen Dev Reveals New Sci-fi RPG

There will be a Lord of the Fallen 2, but co-developer of the original game Deck 13 Interactive won't be involved. Instead, the company is working on a new sci-fi RPG.

According to GameSpot, the currently unnamed title is being developed for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Deck 13 is teaming up with Focus Home Interactive to deliver the game in 2017.

Focus Home managing partner Cedric Lagarrigue talked about the partnership and what that means for the upcoming RPG.

"We are ecstatic to announce this new partnership with one of the very best independent European development studios," he said. "We've been excited by Deck 13's new project since our first exchange with them, and as we've just got through the pre-production phase, we're fully convinced by their capacities to deliver one of the most exciting RPGs to come in the future."

The game is said to include "innovative combat mechanics" and an "original character progression system," but few other details are known. Perhaps the company plans to reveal more at E3 next week.
