Transformers: Devastation Shown Off at SDCC, Looks Like Bayonetta Meets Transformers

Platinum Games just finished its panel at San Diego Comic-Con where attendees were treated to a brand-new trailer of Transformers: Devastation.

Transformers: Devastation is a cell-shaded game being developed for many platforms. It'll allow you to take control of Autobots such as Optimus Prime and Bumblebee as they combat Decepticon forces. Unlike the laundry list of Transformers games of years past, this title is being made by a studio with a strong track record, especially when it comes to gameplay. This latest trailer shows that Transformers: Devastation will incorporate the smooth combat that made games such as Vanquish and Bayonetta stand out.

It's unfortunate because the announcement of Transformers: Devastation was mostly swept under the rug at E3 2015 due to the wealth of announcements that were delivered at the show. But unlike the majority of games announced at E3 this year, Transformers: Devastation will actually be out before this year's end. As if Fall 2015 wasn't already loaded.
