Square Enix TGS Lineup Takes Shape

In today's update in the ever-evolving world of games marketing, we see Square Enix taking an interesting approach to revealing a Tokyo Game Show lineup. Rather than reveal most games but leave a few as secrets (as the company has usually done and as most companies do), it has revealed only a few games, with intentions of building the list gradually.

For now, we know that Star Ocean 5 (PS4, PS3), Dragon Quest Builders (PS4, Vita, PS3), and Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward (PC, PS4, PS3) will be at the show in some form.

As we near the show's Sept. 17 beginning, expect more games to be confirmed little by little, so as we keep constantly checking and checking and waiting and waiting and ingesting more of the Square Enix logo, all the while building more subconscious hype for its games.

Seriously, marketing and the psychology thereof are pretty fascinating.

Brains, man. They're so smart but so takeadvantageofable.
