Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 just released two weeks ago to welcoming hands. Despite receiving favorable user and critic reviews, it has quickly gone on sale.

Amazon has published its deal of the day for gaming and it's Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2, pricing the game at $39.99 until the end of the day. This deal is available for Xbox One, PC, and PS4.

With an 83 Metascore, Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 is one of the highest rated games of 2016 thus far. It's a co-op and competitive online shooter with a pretty aesthetic and welcoming skill curve. It would be best suited for someone who enjoys role-based third-person shooters and wacky humor.

Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 is also one of a very few games this generation to support local multiplayer and even private servers, making it a great choice for gamers who value a wide feature set.
