Actress Profile Suggests Shadow of Mordor 2 Is In Development

A profile for actress and stuntwoman Lauren Mary Kim lists Shadow of Mordor 2 among a list of works in her resume. Interestingly enough, it cites Blur as the company she worked with, which is a highly revered animation studio that has made trailers for games such as Halo 5: Guardians, Batman: Arkham Knight, and Star Wars: The Old Republic. This would suggest that Kim is featured for animation in a yet-to-be-seen Shadow of Mordor 2 trailer.

The use of a female stunt performer raises the question as to whether or not the protagonist will be female, or at least if there will be a gender option available. If not, her work could simply be for a non-protagonist character, of which there were very few of in the original Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor sold more than 4.5 million copies in just 18 months, in addition to winning a multitude of game of the year awards, which makes a sequel highly probable. It earned a 4.5/5 in our official review.

With E3 2016 just around the corner, it's likely that we won't see a trailer for this game until June.
