Blizzard Announces BlizzCon 2016 Virtual Ticket, Now Available

This November 4th and 5th will host BlizzCon 2016, another annual convention run by Blizzard Entertainment. Given the anticipated release of World of Warcraft: Legion and the wild success of Overwatch the event has more watchful eyes than ever before.

As it has done for the past couple years, Blizzard will offer a BlizzCon 2016 Virtual Ticket. This item allows fans to watch the event from home, where its dozens of panels and closing ceremony concert will be viewable live via HD stream.

The Virtual Ticket will also unlock several exclusive digital items for the purchasers account. These items are currently unknown, but in the past have included mounts and pets for World of Warcraft, avatars for StarCraft 2, and banners for Diablo 3 among other items.

For the first time ever, purchasers will also have access to the physical goody bag that all physical attendees will receive, although at an additional $35 fee. The goody bag this year will include:

  • BlizzCon X – Commemorative Stein
  • World of Warcraft – Faction Coaster
  • Heroes of the Storm – E.T.C. Guitar Pick Keychain
  • Hearthstone – Microfiber Tablet Cleaning Cloth
  • Overwatch – Inflatable Reinhardt Rocket Hammer
  • StarCraft II – Baby Overlord Antenna Topper
  • Diablo III – Gaming Dice Set

If you're into Blizzard's games, it's worth considering the Virtual Ticket as there are several notable events that occur during the show, including professional LAN tournaments as well as informative panels regarding the direction of the company's upcoming line-up.
