Red Dead Redemption 2 Teased By Rockstar Games

Rockstar Games has posted the above image to its official Twitter account signaling widespread attention in the gaming community. In addition, it has updated its Twitter profile and header photos with the same art.

The post comes on the heels of rumors that a new Red Dead game in the style of Red Dead Redemption will be revealed this week. The posted image reflects the style of the franchise, with red coloring and a worn, western look.

Rumors suggest that the game will either be an entirely new release from the Red Dead franchise, an HD remake for current generation consoles, or a port of Red Dead Redemption to PC. Rockstar Games has had no confirmed projects in development since Grand Theft Auto V released in 2013, making the possibility of a Red Dead Redemption 2 the most likely candidate.
