Dead Rising 4 Crosses A Billion Zombies Killed

Dead Rising 4 has been out for less than a week, but it's already racking up impressive numbers, and I'm not talking sales.

Capcom announced today via Twitter that at least a billion zombies have been killed so far by players of Dead Rising 4. This takes into account both the single-player and multiplayer game modes, and also noted 500,000 in-game photos taken.

Two out of the three most popular weapons were the Blast From the Past and The Ice Sword, which both made an appearance on our "Best Combo Weapons In Dead Rising 4" guide.

All signs of engagement from the community have been positive regarding Dead Rising 4, despite the general mixed reception of the game itself, which included complaints of generic gameplay, the removal of the 72-hour story mode, for which the first three games were beloved, and its overall lack of difficulty.

Come to think of it, anyone who has played the game will tell you how easy it would be to kill that many zombies in such a short amount of time.
