Firewatch Burns Down One Million Sales Milestone

Although INSIDE has dominated the conversation when it comes to best indie games of 2016, there is one game that has given it a run for its money: Firewatch. The first-person mystery adventure game not only held a high rating through dozens of reviews, but has earned the attention of a growing number of gamers.

Developer Campo Santo has confirmed that Firewatch has surpassed one million units sold across all platforms. Its tweet reads:

Sometime late last year we sold our one millionth copy of Firewatch. Thank you all so much!

Steam Spy shows the game at around 540,000 units sold on PC. The other half of the sales have come from PS4 and Xbox One.

Firewatch earned a 4.5/5 in our review, and currently stands at an Outstandingly Positive ranking on Steam.
