Nintendo Switch Is Arriving On March 3rd For Only $299

Described as an "all-new type of system", the Switch is a huge venture for Nintendo. It will sport not only the best specs of any device Nintendo has ever made, but it will effectively serve as two systems in one.

Nintendo began today's presentation by diving right into the most important details. This included confirmation that the Switch will release worldwide on March 3rd.

But what really caught everyone by surprise was the price. Sporting decent hardware in addition to multiple modes of play, it'll cost $299 at launch. This puts it right alongside the now three-year old PS4 and Xbox One, an aggressive position for Nintendo.

Pre-orders are expected to becaome available soon. If you're interested, be sure to lock in your pre-order as early as possible.
