[Update]: The official Injustice 2 Twitter account has just confirmed the online Beta for North America. No dates have been announced as of yet, but the Beta will only be available on PS4 or Xbox One. You can register on the official website.
[Original Story]: Ed Boon has made himself quite infamous for his Tweets, particularly his more cryptic musings, and while everyone was scrambling to figure out what was a really obvious post of Injustice 2's release date, Boon was quietly stepping up his game.
Posting this image along with text saying "Don't know why, but I can't help feeling like there is something missing today…."
It won't take you long to figure out that those are Greek letters, and it won't take you long after that to realize that it doesn't spell out anything in Greek. It does, however, list Alpha, Gamma, Delta, Episilon, Zeta, Eta and Theta in an order right after remarking how "something is missing."
Anyone who is or has been in a fraternity, or simply who exists on this planet, can put those pieces together. Ed Boon is teasing a "beta," and likely (if only because there are no other options) for Injustice 2.
But, even more exciting is that, if we're to read into his Tweet even further, the beta could be coming as soon as "today." We will update this story as more details become available.
