Diablo 3 Update 2.5 Hits PTR, Adds Armory and Crafting Mat Storage

The long-awaited 2.5.0 update for Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls has hit the PTR. Along with that, Blizzard has published its patch notes. Although not a major patch, it includes a couple things that players have been requesting for more than a year.

The biggest feature coming in 2.5.0 is what Blizzard is calling Armory. This will allow players to save up to five loadouts, including gear and skills, at the Stash. With this, players can transition between various builds depending on what they're doing. This will save precious time as changing loadouts is an integral part of the Diablo 3 experience.

In addition, crafting mats will now be automatically placed in their own designated storage area. This will free up valuable storage space for weapons and armor, something that has become particularly important in recent years with the popularity of legendary items.

The update also includes some balancing adjustments, namely to items and Adventure Mode.

2.5.0 is now available on the Diablo 3 PTR server with no estimated release date on the live servers. You can read the full patch notes here.
