First-person 3DS RPG Beyond the Labyrinth Dated

Labyrinth no Kanata, or rather, Beyond the Labyrinth, is set to please Japanese first-person RPG fans on January 19th of next year, as announced by Konami on the game's official website

Don't let the screenshots below or box art above fool you; this game makes use of the first-person perspective in both navigation and battle. The girl in the white dress is a party member, but not the player character.  She can be seen wandering around in front of the player character, but the player will not see himself.

Game Revolution actively sought out someone with experience playing the game for a quick comparison.  When asked what the game compared to, my wife on the other couch likened it to "Stuff like Etrian Odyssey or Class of Heroes." Pressed for a sandwich, the interviewee concluded the discussion and Game Revolution lost the opportunity for further questions. It also had to relocate its Japan office.

Beyond the Labyrinth currently has no confirmed release dates outside of Japan. Have some screens.
