The Witcher 2 Xbox 360 Pre-Order Details Revealed

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and CD Projekt RED will be treating the Xbox 360 release of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings as a regular new release, complete with retail-dependent pre-order bonuses and two separate editions.

Pre-ordering the standard Enhanced Edition from Amazon will give purchasers an exclusive Digital Comic Book; from Best Buy, an exclusive T-Shirt; and from GameStop, an exclusive Wolf Head keychain. (I would go with Best Buy here myself.) The Enhanced Edition by itself will include an original soundtrack CD, world map, and quest handbook with advice "for both novice and experienced role-playing fans", as well as the additional quests and characters that the regular PC game did not have.

The Dark Edition (pictured below, price still unknown) boasts all of the items in the Enhanced Edition and the making-of DVD, The Witcher Medallion (a metal wolf head medallion), 232-page artbook, three stickers, and a thick cardboard box to carry them.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition debuts April 17 in North American for Xbox 360 and on the PC as a free update.
