Namco Debuts Ni No Kuni English Trailer, Delays Launch To 2013

It's a sad, sad day for all you Level-5 fans, as Namco announced last night at their event in Las Vegas that the upcoming title Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch will not be available in the west until sometime early next year. The game was supposed to launch this holiday season, but for whatever reason, we're going to have to wait just a few extra months.

Fortunately, they tried to make it up to us by unveiling the first official English trailer for the title, which you can check out below.

The game's gorgeous visual design, courtesy of Studio Ghibli, is reason enough to give this one a look. And from what I hear, the gameplay isn't so bad either. If Ni No Kuni manages to deliver the awe-inspiring experience it's teasing, there's a good chance that this game will finally be the JRPG that this generation so desperately needs. I don't know about you, but I haven't played a game from this genre that wowed me since the days of the PS2.

Ni No Kuni, please be that game.
