Rayman Legends Leaked, Video Shows Wii U NFC Capabilities

Last week we reported on a survey that potentially leaked a Rayman Origins sequel. Daniel and I both high-fived and cheered like school girls. But because it was only a survey, we couldn't get our hopes up too much.

Now, a leaked video has surfaced—this time showing off not only a re-branded Rayman Legends as the sequel's title, but also showing off the game in action on the Wii U.

In the video, the Wii U's NFC capabilities are demonstrated, allowing one gamer to place a Raving Rabbid toy on the Wii U tablet controller's screen, then cutting to the Raving Rabbids appearing in-game. Just like in the smash-success, Skylanders.

It seems that Daniel and I may resume our happy dance. We just hope that Rayman Legends releases for more consoles than just the Wii U.

Tell GR: Do you see yourself ever using NFC technology on the Wii U? And do you think that the runaway success of Skylanders could happen again on the Wii U using NFC?
