Vampire RPG DARK Will Suck, Hopefully

Publisher Kalypso has announced DARK, a stealth-action vampire RPG, where players will take the role of Eric Bane. One day, he wakes up in a bar and realizes that he's been newly sired as a vampire but without any of the memories of the past.

So, of course, the player will be spending much of the story recovering his memories, while fighting through a darkened world with numerous enemies. I imagine that he'll need to feed on humans or some other source of blood eventually either to survive and recover health or to enhance his vampiric abilities, which include short bursts of teleportation.

A playable version of DARK will be featured at the Role Play Convention within the next two days in Cologne. The game, developed by Realmforge, should appear some time in the first quarter next year.
