Tech Video For Beyond Good & Evil Sequel Surfaces, Showcases Gorgeous Environments

It was recently confirmed by Ubisoft that the long awaited sequel to Michel Ancel's Beyond Good & Evil is currently in the works for next-gen hardware. A leaked screenshot hit the web earlier this week teasing what the game may look like when it eventually launches. Now, just a few days later, an entire minute and a half of gorgeous environmental footage allegedly from the game has surfaced (above) and man, does it look awesome.

While it may not present the mind-blowing graphical leap gamers are likely expecting from the next-gen, it sure does look gorgeous. The astounding level of detail lends itself to creating a sense of place and atmosphere that is really impressive. With Ubisoft's press conference only a few weeks away, there's a good chance that they are planning to release this video at that time. Wait, scratch that. Ubisoft pressers are historically rather unbearable and this clip would definitely break that trend.

I don't know about you, but for me, this game can't come soon enough. Bring on the the next-gen!
