Battlefield 3 DLC And Premium Service Prices Leaked

After months of DICE battling to stabilize Battlefield 3 it is ready to start unloading some new content including DLC and a subscription-based service that rivals Call of Duty ELITE. But how much will this all be? Will I have to sell my loved ones to afford it?

Previous to an edit on the latest European PlayStation Blog's store preview, the list of next week's content included prices for two of Battlefield 3's upcoming features: Close Quarters and Battlefield 3 Premium. According to the post Battlefield 3's Close Quarters DLC will cost €14.99, or about $15 U.S. Meanwhile, Battlefield 3 Premium will cost around €49.99, which equates to $50 U.S.

Both prices are right in-line with the pricing model used by Activision with Call of Duty where map packs and Call of Duty ELITE are priced similarly. Now you can spend $160/year on Xbox Live, Call of Duty ELITE, and Battlefield Premium. How fantastic.

Additionally, the post listed both as having a release date of June 4th, so it won't be long before both are released and people begin actually talking about Battlefield 3 again. Start working on your aim and prepare to empty your wallet next Tuesday.
