Released only a month ago on June 14, Persona 4 The Golden has already reached the top of the pack in Japan, according to a sales list by Famitsu Magazine. Below is that list of the 10 best-selling titles currently in Japan:

1. Persona 4 The Golden – 188,782 units

2. Hot Shot Golf 6 – 118,985

3. Uncharted Golden Abyss – 89.390

4. Gravity Daze/Rush – 74,785

5. Dynasty Warriors Next – 74,718

6. Tales of Innocence R – 71,463

So far, PlayStation's latest handheld has sold around 790,000 units which Sony believes is on target, despite the original PSP selling around 71 million units within 8 years. The Vita will need to play catch-up if it wants to match those figures. (A Monster Hunter for Vita would be a game-changer.)
