Watch: EA Flexes Frostbite Engine Muscle at E3 2017

In the middle of its EA Play Press Conference, EA showed off how its investment in the Frostbite Engine has paid off.

This latest trailer shows cuts from games such a Mass Effect; Andromeda, Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst, and Star Wars: Battlefront 2, each of which rank among the most visually stunning games in history.

The Frostbite Engine is currently being used as the foundation of every major title created by EA. It has earned a positive reputation among gamers for supporting beautiful visuals and realistic physics that include destructible environments in some titles, all with surprising levels of optimization.

This new engine versions is being used for Star Wars Battlefront 2, among other upcoming titles.
