Next-Gen Xbox Dev Kit Images Surface

The Xbox 720, Durango, or whatever you want to call it is believed to be launching next year, and as the current generation of gaming hardware beings to show its age, the excitement for new technology is starting to grow. While we still have quite a bit of waiting to do until 2013, we've got a few images of what appears to be a dev kit for Microsoft's upcoming console.

According to Digital Foundry, the images (pictured above and below) that were first spotted on the AssemblerGames forum are in fact legit pics of an Xbox 720 dev kit. Apparently forum user DaE was trying to sell the kit for $10,000. Go figure. Digital Foundry spoke with the source as well as “multiple developers working on next-gen projects” to confirm the accuracy of these images.

In addition, it appears that the console has a 64-bit operating system as well as Intel CPUs, an NVIDIA graphics card and 8GB of RAM. This is particularly interesting because it was widely believed that the console would use and AMD graphics card, as Microsoft and NVIDIA don't have the strongest relationship.
