Several months ago at E3, those lucky enough to get a behind closed doors look at Naughty Dog's The Last of Us were treated to an alternate playthrough of the level that blew everyone away during Sony's press conference. While many who have only seen the presser demonstration remain convinced that the experience was far too scripted, those who saw the second, drastically different playthrough claim quite the contrary.
Fortunately, you don't simply have to take our word for it any longer, as Sony and Naughty Dog have just released the video demo to the public. Check it out in all of its post-apocalyptic awesomeness above.
Honestly, it's frightening how intelligent and lifelike the enemy AI is in this game. Many developers have tried, but none have come quite as close as Naughty Dog to capturing that sense of being in a truly authentic, living, breathing world.
Kudos, fellas. You have me hyped.
