Obsidian Teasing New Game, “Project X”

Role-playing developer Obsidian Entertainment has decided to tease the interwebz by directing users to a new teaser page when visiting Obsidian.net. The page, which launched late yesterday, looked like the image above, bearing the number 4 encircled by a snake.

At first glance, one might think that this is perhaps teasing the fourth installment to some existing franchise; however, if you visit the page now, you'll see something different.

At this point, I'd say it's safe to say that the number is simply counting down the days to the big reveal, but what could those quotes below possibly mean? Clicking on the image will redirect you to the Obsidian forums, where users can speculate what "Project X" could possibly be.

If you have any clever ideas, be sure to share them will the rest of the GR community in the comments below.
