Blizzard Takes No Issue With Windows 8

While Valve's Gabe Newell has made it clear he's hardly a fan of Microsoft's upcoming operating system, the guys over at Blizzard don't seem to have any problems with Windows 8. In fact, the developer went so far as to confirm that they wholeheartedly plan to expand their content to the platform once it launches.

Speaking with CVG, Darren Williams, senior software engineer at Blizzard explained that Blizzard plans to provide content on the platforms that have the largest audiences, and Windows 8 obviously fits the bill quite nicely. “We put our games on platforms our players are already on, so yeah, it will be available on Windows 8. I think that we’ll go with the platforms that the most people are on. There’s no particular fear we have of Windows 8.”

"No particular fear", eh? Could Williams be alluding to the fact that the guys over at Valve are a bunch of scaredy cats? Let the PC developer drama begin…
