Hideo Kojima loves a cryptic clue, doesn’t he? No hints or riddles here though. He’s proving he suffers just like the rest of us his mere mortals when it comes to putting together the new Death Stranding E3 2018 trailer. Struggling through his fair share of technical difficulties, Kojima has had to replace his Apple Mac with a Windows laptop for the time being. Windows Updates be damned – unless this is all one big puzzle that needs to be pieced together to unlock the mysteries of Death Stranding? I wouldn’t put it past him…
Taking to his social media accounts, the Kojima Productions founder has revealed that a Death Stranding E3 2018 trailer is currently in the works, despite technology working against him. Someone hasn’t played Metal Gear Solid 2.
Due to the technical issues, this time I’m having sunlight filtering through trees just outside of the “window” instead of biting an “apple” to do my editing. pic.twitter.com/Bb3W8yNicE

While it’s currently unknown whether it’ll be a cinematic or a gameplay trailer, it’s comforting to know that Death Stranding will definitely have a presence at E3 2018. In a time where the multimedia extravaganza is dwindling in terms of importance, Hideo Kojima’s debut title with his own studio will be one of the flagship games to pin our hopes own.
As for any actual clues as to what this Death Stranding trailer is going to be about… there’s very little. The hashtags of Mads Mikkelsen and Norman Reedus hint that they’ll show their faces again – and maybe even interact this time – but I’m certain it’s going to be as baffling and bizarre as ever. It is Hideo Kojima, after all.
Being a PS4 exclusive, you can expect to see the Death Stranding E3 2018 trailer close out Sony’s conference on June 11. Now we play the waiting game – and hope Apple hasn’t borked Kojima-san’s laptop and deleted all of his files.
