We’ve only got four months and so many days before October 26th, a date which every Rockstar fan has marked down in their calendar. Yes, that’s right folks, it’s the day that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be coming out and we’re all pretty excited. But you know what will add to your excitement? Knowing that the pre-ordered Red Dead Redemption 2 bonuses have been leaked.
This leak comes directly via the Xbox store, where the full list of the pre-order bonuses is there for all to see. What’s more, the list shows some very interesting information that could arguably allude to future DLC once the game officially debuts this October.
You will receive the following items if you choose to pre-order Red Dead Redemption 2:
- The War Horse
- The Outlaw Survival Kit
- Cash Bonus for Red Dead Redemption 2 Story Mode
- Bonus GTA$500,000 to spend immediately in Grand Theft Auto Online.
In order to obtain your ‘GTA$500,000’, you’ll have to go to the Microsoft store, then search “$500,000 for Grand Theft Auto Online”. You’ll be then able to download your beloved prize, then gleefully spend it on whatever takes your fancy.
It was only a few days ago that Red Dead Redemption 2’s publisher, Take-Two, stated that DLC would be considered for the game. And while these pre-order bonuses can be argued to not to be considered as DLC, it does leave some implication that Take-Two is taking the desire for it very seriously.
Even if not narrative-heavy, single-player DLC, Rockstar, and Take-Two have shown interest in updating their games enough with new content that the game never threatens to go stale. Their weekly updates for GTA Online is proof of that, and that’s not even taking into consideration how many players are still active in the community, with many more still joining.
What is your take on these pre-order bonuses? Let us know in the comments below.
