Tomb Raider Box Art Revealed, Lara’s Seen Better Days

After getting the chance to see a nice lengthy demonstration of Lara in action at E3 earlier this year, I must admit, I'm pretty hyped for Crystal Dynamic's Tomb Raider reboot. And now that Square Enix has gone ahead and revealed the cover art, I'm sold.

Those who know me are well aware of the fact that I'm a sucker for a pretty box art (who says you can't judge a book by its cover?) so the fact that the cover for Tomb Raider looks absolutely amazing is just icing on the cake. Why is it that so many publishers feel the need to clutter a cover with so much needless garbage? Honestly, the most beautiful things in life are relatively simple.

Let us know what you think of the box art in the comments below.
