Overwatch Golden Loot Box

Overwatch Golden Loot Box Twitch Prime Giveaway

An Overwatch golden loot box is a coveted prize and now it can be yours. Twitch Prime members can score a golden loot box from now through October 9, 2018. The Overwatch Twitter account announced the news earlier today.

Obviously, you’ll need to own a copy of Overwatch to claim your golden loot box. While the contents inside are still random, the box is guaranteed to have legendary skin. While the above tweet claims the promotion is good through October 9, the official end time (according to the link provided) is October 8 at 11:59 p.m. PDT.

Once redeemed, you need to login to Overwatch and actually claim the loot box before December 31, 2018, at 11:59 p.m. PST. According to Blizzard, “each Blizzard and Twitch Prime account may only claim each Overwatch reward once per campaign” so don’t try to game the system. Nor do you need to. Twitch Prime members will be able to claim another golden loot box later in October.

These golden loot boxes are really convenient considering that legendary skins are the rarest ones Overwatch has to offer. If you can’t take advantage of this promotion you’re stuck getting legendary skins the old-fashioned way. Players can keep leveling up, opening box after box and saving up their in-game credit.

Alternatively, they can expedite the process by paying for loot boxes via microtransactions. But, due to the fact that everything comes down to probability, even buying fifty loot boxes isn’t necessarily going to solve the problem. Still, there are well over 300 skins in Overwatch so fans have plenty of chances to come across some of their many favorites throughout the course of their seasons.

While ad-free viewing is no longer a part of Twitch Prime, there are still plenty of perks to enjoy.
