DualShock 3 Not Compatible With PS4

Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida has confirmed that the DualShock 3 will not be compatible with the recently unveiled PlayStation 4.

By now, you should be well aware of the fact that Sony's next-gen console has a new-and-improved version of the iconic PlayStation game pad, which features a touch pad, "Share" button, and more. So, considering how wildly different the DualShock 4 is from the PlayStation 3's handset, this news shouldn't come as too much of a shock.

However, if by some miracle you haven't thrown out your Move controllers yet, you'll be pleased (or perhaps disappointed) to hear that your glowing wands will work just fine on the PS4.

Are you disheartened by this news, or are you ready to fully embrace Sony's feature-filled new controller? Let us know in the comments below.
