Call of Duty Creators At Respawn Entertainment Will “Finally Be At E3” This Year

While Activision and Bungie have made quite a stir with their reveal of Destiny, the former shooter-darlings, since fired from the Call of Duty publisher may be gearing up for their own reveal. In fact, a tweet by Vince Zampella, one of the brains behind the original Medal of Honor series and a founder at Respawn Entertainment, suggests we might learn about their next game at E3.

If you were lost in the legal shuffle, Vince Zampella and Jason West were the creators of Medal of Honor, before they left Electronic Arts to form Infinity Ward with Activision. Then, with an incredible in-game allegory, Zampella and West gave a big middle finger to corporate Activision and slammed the door on the way out.

They've since formed Respawn Entertainment and plan on publishing a new game with the EA Partners label, meaning they'll get to keep their independant, IP-owning status. The new studio has been hard at work for nearly three years. What could possibly come of their new venture?

Will Respawn fall back on their experience and reveal a shooter?
