Check Out AMD’s TressFX Hair Tech In Tomb Raider

PC gamers can once again tout the fact that their platform trumps the competition, as AMD’s TressFX hair tech in Tomb Raider is evidence to this fact. Check out the clip above to see it in action.

In the console versions, Lara's hair is clumped together in an unrealistic ponytail, but as you can see above, the improved PC version of the game allows players to see each strand of hair move independently. It's not perfect, but it sure is a whole lot more impressive than the alternative.
