Shaggy Jump Force mod adds Scooby-Doo character

Shaggy Rogers of Scooby-Doo has been a hot topic on the internet following the emergence of a viral Dragon Ball-related meme. Now, courtesy of a Shaggy Jump Force mod, Scooby-Doo’s bumbling best friend will be able to take on the likes of Goku and Frieza.

According to GameRant, a modder called BeatzYT3 and an artist named vaanrose are responsible for the Shaggy Jump Force mod. The internet will likely rejoice at the news of Shaggy’s inclusion. The mod follows an unsuccessful petition to get the character into Mortal Kombat 11 and Super Smash Bros Ultimate. The mod itself brings the story of the Shaggy Dragon Ball meme full circle. Shaggy will not only be able to take on Dragon Ball characters, but the mod is also actually a replacement mod for the Dragon Ball character Vegeta. Fans can now delight at the sight of Shaggy Rogers going Super Saiyan.

At the moment, the Shaggy Jump Force mod includes no facial animations for the character. BeatzYT3 cites his lack of experience with animation morphers for that exclusion. However, Shaggy does have all of Vegeta’s other animations.

The Shaggy Dragon Ball meme took off earlier this year but actually began in 2017. A video took a clip of Shaggy Rogers taking on a biker gang and Dragon Ball’d it up. In 2019, internet meme fans picked up the baton and started incorporating Dragon Ball into a whole range of Shaggy scenes.
