Redbox Instant And GameTrailers Apps Now Available On Xbox Live

Xbox Live subscribers now have two new applications to distract them from gaming: "Redbox Instant by Verizon" and a GameTrailers app.

Using Redbox's new streaming service on your Xbox will require both a Gold subscription and Redbox membership. There are two tiers to the Redbox membership. The first provides unlimited streaming as well as four kiosk DVDs for $8 a month, while the second option offers Blu-ray rentals instead for an extra buck a month. If you're even slightly interested, you can give the service a free one-month test drive.

As one might expect, the GameTrailers app allows users to check out trailers and other video content from the popular gaming outlet. Anyone planning to make use of this? What's that? You want a GameRevolution app? Maybe next year.
