Layers of Fear 2, the sequel to Layers of Fear, has been given a May 28 release date for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The Layers of Fear 2 release date was announced on the games official Twitter page which can be found here. Its predecessor, Layers of Fear, released back in February 2016 and fans of the game have been clamoring for a sequel ever since. Layers of Fear 2 was announced back in October 2018 and today fans were given a release date for the psychological thriller. If you’re not familiar with the series, Layers of Fear 2 is a first-person psychological thriller. The game takes place on an ocean liner that is the set for an upcoming movie. Players will play the role of a Hollywood actor how has been cast with the lead role in the movie which is set to be filmed entirely on the ship. Layers of Fear 2 is created by small independent developer Bloober Team. The developers pride themselves as being the only independent studio to create games for the release of two Sony consoles, the PlayStation Vita and the PlayStation 4, according to their website.
