sekiro shrek mod

Sekiro Shrek mod is bizarre and an all-star

There have been some bizarre mods this year from turning Mr. X into Thomas the Tank Engine to putting him in a thong, but this new Sekiro Shrek mod might be even more out there. Modders by the names of Dropoff and Katalash have unleashed a new tweak for the PC version of Sekiro that replaces one ogre with another more familar one. You may recall seeing Shrek for the first time in his movie of the same name back in 2001. And now, you get to up against him.

The mod is available for download here. It’s free, and unless DreamWorks does any kind of cease-and-desist, you should be able to enjoy it for a while.

If you want a good idea of what you’re getting into against this creature, check out the video below. Posted by Lance McDonald, it features Sekiro going head-to-head against Shrek, who lays him out pretty easily to a drop kick. For good measure, Smash Mouth’s “All Star” plays in the background. Sadly, it’s not part of the mod. (Yet.)

Although Shrek’s appearance is all too short with this mod – and there’s also no sign of Donkey – it’s pretty interesting nevertheless. Unfortunately, there’s no way to currently add him to console versions of the game. But we’ll let you know if this somehow changes in the future.

In the meantime, you PC players can give this mod a try and hum along to “All Star” to your heart’s content. And if you kill him, we’re pretty sure Lord Farquaad probably wouldn’t mind. That’s if you kill him, mind you.
