Halo Television Series Coming To Xbox One, Spielberg At The Helm

During yesterday's Xbox Reveal, Microsoft and 343 Industries announced that a Halo television series is in the works for Xbox One, and Steven Spielberg will behind the project.

Just like the Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn series, this new Spartan-centric show will be live-action and (hopefully) boast similarly high production values. I don't know about you, but I love the Halo series, so this announcement more than made up for the fact that Halo 5 (and a Halo 2 remake for that matter) is still a long ways off.

That said, we've been promised Halo content like this in the past, only to be left hanging high and dry. Remember the Halo movie that was supposed to happen years ago? I'm still waiting…
