E3 2019 | Final Fantasy 7 1st Class Edition and Deluxe Edition revealed

The Final Fantasy 7 Remake 1st Class Edition and Deluxe Edition have been revealed, showing what Final Fantasy 7 fans can get out of the two premium sets. The former features an elaborate statue depicting Cloud atop his motorbike, while the latter includes a mini soundtrack CD and bonus content.

The 1st Class Edition and Deluxe Edition were revealed during the Square Enix E3 2019 press conference, in which the company also debuted a brand new gameplay trailer for the upcoming JRPG. The extensive demo focused on the game’s combat, including a new tactical mode allowing players to slow down time while dealing with enemies, and how the game will tackle boss fights.

Square also revealed that Final Fantasy 7‘s first episode will launch on two blu-rays, pointing to how expansive this particular adventure will be. The first episode will focus solely on Midgar, with Square splitting up the action between episodes.

The 1st Class Edition will be available for $330, meaning that it will set back prospective buyers a pretty penny. It features the following items:

  • Final Fantasy 7
  • Steelbook case
  • Art book
