Conker’s Bad Fur Day Creator Teases Wii U Project

Christopher Seavor, the man behind the iconic mature-themed N64 platformer Conker's Bad Fur Day, is apparently working on a title for the Wii U.

The former Rare developer and founder of mobile developer Gory Detail, teased Nintendo fans on Twitter with the following post: “Wii U devkits ain’t cheap and it’s lookin likely Gory Detail is gonna need three at some point this year.”

Could the studio be working on some sort of spiritual successor to Conker? Ever since Rare was purchased by Microsoft years ago, hopes have been dashed that we'd ever see something akin to the quality of Rare-developed N64 platformers again on a Nintendo console, but perhaps that will change very soon.

Would something along the lines of a new Conker-esque title have you interested in picking up a Wii U? Let us know in the comments below.
