With the latest episode — that is episode 59 (season 3, episode 22) — marking the end of that season, it’s understandable why fans might be eager to learn when exactly they can watch more Attack on Titan. Well, the official release date period is fall 2020, meaning that there’s over a year to wait at the time of writing.

It’s also been confirmed that Attack on Titan season 4 will be the final season of the hit anime. If you thought the season 3 finale was something special, then the actual series finale should hopefully top it, concluding the storyline for the main characters.

Season 3 was split into two separate parts, with the first 12 episodes airing weekly from the beginning of October 2018 onwards. The show was then halted until April 2019, when “season 3 part 2” finally began again.

If you’re a big AoT fan who has been watching since the beginning, then you’ll be used to enduring some lengthy delays. While it might be disappointing that Attack on Titan season 4 won’t be airing until fall 2020, at least it’s not as bad as the almost unbearable four-year wait between seasons 1 and 2!

Expect to hear more about the exact Attack on Titan season 4 release date as we enter 2020. If supported services remain the same, you can expect Crunchyroll and Funimation to have the new AoT season first, with Hulu in the US having it slightly after it airs.

For now, take a look at the Attack on Titan season 4 release date period teaser trailer below. It’s only 15 seconds, but it at least provides a hint at the action to come.
