Warner Bros. Still Confident In Wii U, Just “Off To A Slow Start”

You don't need me to tell you that the Wii U isn't doing so hot. With a relatively disappointing showing at E3 and a price point that seems a bit too high, Nintendo's HD console still has plenty of gamers, developers, and publishers to win over.

Fortunately, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has voiced its support for the Wii U, with company president Martin Tremblay making it clear the publisher is confident in the platform's future. “Honestly, we hope everybody’s going to work out. It’s just good for the industry. I think [Wii U] has been off to a slow start, but I think they’re going to fix the problem," Tremblay told GamesIndustry.

“I don’t think it’s a problem, but it’s more about the content. And I think they showed tons of new content [at E3] that will re-energize the platform.”

Are you hopeful that Nintendo will eventually make a comeback? What will it take to "re-energize" the Wii U? A price cut? A new Zelda title? Comment below and let us know.
