Possible Promotion Shots Support New Name for Sony’s NGP

Yesterday we reported that the Next Generation Portable, Sony's pre-release name for the PlayStation Portable 2, could possibly be named the PlayStation Vita. This seemed like nothing more than rumor and speculation thanks to a complete lack of evidence.

Visual proof? Yeah, well… I guess that would work.

These two shots are supposedly proofs for marketing material. E3 does generate quite a bit of paper goods. Typically companies will hand out flyers and pamphlets (exciting, I know) for their latest products so lazy, rotten, no-good, scammers journalists get the story straight. Whether these proof shots are legit or not will be cleared up in the next two weeks. Certainly, Sony will be able to find time to name their upcoming handheld device during their five hour press conference.

Don't forget! Game Revolution will be at E3 2011 en masse, covering all the latest gaming news as it happens. You can follow us on Twitter for the latest as it happens and check out our E3 2011 tag page for all of our coverage leading up and through the big show.
