Ubisoft Docking Assassin’s Creed IV’s Jackdaw At Comic-Con 2013

Ay mateys!

In an attempt to trump everyone at Comic-Con 2013, Ubisoft will dock the Jackdaw, the infamous ship from Assassin's Creed IV's Black Flag, behind the San Diego Convention Center on the 5th Avenue Landing on July 19 and 20 from 10-7pm.

Attendees lucky enough to board will get their grubby hands on the title's single-player demo and hands-on time with both the multiplayer and Game Lab portions. Todd McFarlane, who shouldn't need any introduction, will be on the sea vessel signing away exclusive Assassin's Creed posters and showing off his line of McFarlane Toys' Assassin's Creed figurines on July 19 from 4-7pm and July 20 from 10:30-1:30pm.

Before walking the plank, fans can also plunder art booklets, prizes, inflatable cutlass swords, and a live weapon demonstration from pirate weapon historian Mike Loades who will hopefully (not) hurt some poor lad who believes those swords are fake.

If that weren't enough, fans can then head to the San Diego Civic Center on July 20 for a free concert, sponsored by Amazon Video Games and Assassin's Creed, that will be open to all ye seadogs, no Comic-Con badge necessary!

Obligatory ending to this article: Yaaaarrrrr!
