Infamous: Second Son Looks Like The Last Of Us In New Screenshots

From this set of four new screenshots, InFamous: Second Son (or inFAMOUS: Second Son, if you're so inclined to spell it that way) looks just as spectacular in still frames as The Last of Us. It has that certain je ne sais quoi with the lightning effects and pale color pallete, that quality of not being afraid to use color and shadows but not overdoing it to an extreme. Sucker Punch is certainly showing off the graphical standard for PlayStation 4 titles.

I suppose, judging from the screenshots themselves (click on them to enlarge), that it will depict the city of Seattle, Washington with detailed accuracy. (Can Delsin Rowe go to PAX Prime?) From the first screenshot, it would seem as though he can fizzle out his appearance and leap high into the air, or fly like some Human Torch without all the flames. If so, this is likely an ability that he will absorb from another conduit, considering that his first ability is conjuring smoke.

The last screenshot, on the hand, is a reflection of the heightened militarized state created by the Department of Unified Protection who, fearing the mutant powers of the conduits, have dubbed them X-Men bio-terrorists. Just another name for anti-heroes against government oppression and oversurveillance. Looks damn fun, really.
