PS4 Video Recording Won’t Require PlayStation Plus

Sony president of worldwide studios Shuhei Yoshida has confirmed that the PlayStation 4's recording and sharing capabilities will not be walled off from those who don't subscribe to PlayStation Plus.

Just yesterday it was revealed that Xbox One's DVR capabilities will require an Xbox Live Gold subscription. Naturally, this prompted a number of gamers to ask Yoshia on Twitter whether or not the same would be the case for PS4.

Sony just continues to provide gamers with good news. I can't imagine this battle between the PS4 and Xbox One getting any more one-sided.
