Microsoft Reportedly Running Halo 4 On PC And Windows Phone Via Cloud Streaming

There's a good chance PC gamers and Windows Phone users will have the opportunity to play games like Halo 4 on their platform of choice, as Microsoft is reportedly using the power of cloud streaming to make such a reality.

According to a report from The Verge, Microsoft has shown off its cloud-based streaming tech by playing Halo 4 on both a low-end PC and a Windows Phone connected to an Xbox 360 controller. Pretty crazy, no?

Could Microsoft have an answer to Sony's highly anticipated Gaikai-powered PlayStation-streaming cloud service? The folks over at Microsoft are hardly strangers to innovation in the software space, so it certainly wouldn't come as a surprise.

When contacted for comment, the company only replied with, "The Microsoft Company Meeting is a great place to demonstrate many exciting possibilities, but we don't have any specific plans to share at this time."

Stay tuned for more information as we receive it.
